I created this blog to write about what I love, wanting them to reside in a cosy 'nook' in the internet I can retreat to.

Amber Ray

Amber created the Nook in July of 2022, and used it as a platform to share her love of British travel spots, culinary experiences and home. She works in production alongside her studies, and in her free time works on writing fiction books and running her London book club @girlsbookclubofficial.

Hannah Slack

Hannah has been a resident of Sheffield since she came to study at the university. Completing a PhD in History, she spent an unordinary amount of time investigating the fascinating and harrowing experiences of Elizabethan sailors. Thankfully, her own travels are less life-threatening and a lot more fun! With a passion for nature and history, you can expect a lot of these topics in her writing.
